Dr. Israelson graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Indiana University, followed up by her Doctorate of Optometry, also at Indiana University, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. After finishing school, Dr. Israelson and her husband returned to Boulder to be near both of their families. Dr. Israelson joined Envision Boulder in 2002 and has thrived in the energetic, health-conscious culture of her hometown.
When not providing her patients with exemplary care, Dr. Israelson is often found skiing around the world or riding her bike. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons in and around the mountains.
Dr. Smith grew up in beautiful Boulder, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado, where she earned a B.A. in Molecular Biology and History. Inspired by her grandfather and father, she pursued a career in optometry and graduated with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry.
In 2018, Dr. Smith joined Envision Boulder where she is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of patient-centered eye care. She values comprehensive, individualized treatment and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include specialty contact lens fitting, and dry eye management.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Smith enjoys skiing, cycling, and exploring Colorado with her sweet dog, Clementine.
