What Dr. Vicky Graham loves most about her job is that it allows her to use her analytical skills as well as her people skills. "I've always been a puzzle person, and each patient's vision is a puzzle," said this Honors graduate of Southern California College of Optometry. "I love the challenge of finding the right solution for each person."

As someone who got her first glasses at age four, wore contact lenses for 16 years, and had refractive surgery 10 years ago, Vicky understands the hassles of less-than-perfect vision. She strives to help each patient get the type of vision correction and the prescription that best meets their needs and their lifestyle.

A Colorado native, Vicky returned home in 1995 after completing a post-doctoral residency in ocular disease and serving as a clinical instructor and Director of the Acute Care Eye Clinic at NSU College of Optometry in Oklahoma. Having practiced in other parts of the country makes Vicky appreciate her Boulder patients even more. "Practicing in Boulder is very unique because people are so aware of their health," she said. "It's inspiring to take care of patients who really understand the connection between their general health and their vision."

Outside of the office, the south Boulder resident keeps herself healthy by running the Mesa Trail with her husband John, canoeing in Minnesota's Boundary Waters and cruising Boulder's bike paths with her son, Colton, and daughter, Luna, in tow.
